The first volume of David Alfieri and Uwe Sander, both BCA license manager, is a foundational work. Simple and vividly conveys the book the basics of snooker. It is based on the teaching methods of the POOL SCHOOL USA. This is headed by Jerry Briesath, one of the best known professional coach in North America. From him Alfieri and Sander based on their knowledge and formulated this in the first of three volumes. For her trainer activities both received a diploma of the Billiard Congress of America (BCA); in Germany, they founded the POOL SCHOOL GERMANY and have since formed a player and coach in the whole of Europe. The reader is given an overview of an optimal gaming system (Target and push-through technique) in snooker. Errors in movements are eintrainiert years ignorant and inhibit the increase in performance of a player. In this volume, the relationship between cause and effect is shown. Statements about ideal movements are questioned not only the how, but also why. Furthermore, there are many useful material tips for beginners and professionals.
