Like all players' tops, this 100% North American Grade A hardwood maple is hand-selected by experts for best quality and straightness. The tops are turned several times and stored so that they do not warp later, and are treated with the patented stabilizer Nelsonite to protect against fluctuations in humidity. Final the tops are sanded with a Pro-Taper and finished with a high-gloss finish of French cue wax. You will see that the shaft glides smoothly through your hands and above all just remains straight!
